Who We Are. In the heartlands where the echoes of Native American heritage and African American resilience intersect, a collective of extraordinary individuals emerges, bound not only by shared history but by a profound commitment to overcoming parallel challenges.

What We Do. At Local Phoenix Youth and Education Outreach Support, we are committed to providing enriching learning experiences for young people who face unique challenges in accessing quality educational opportunities. With your generous support, we aim to organize a series of engaging activities designed to inspire curiosity, foster creativity, and cultivate essential skills among these bright minds. Our upcoming initiative will focus on [brief description of the learning activity, e.g., STEM workshops, arts and crafts sessions, or career exploration seminars]. The COVID-19 pandemic unexpectedly changed almost all aspects of people’s everyday lives. This included new challenges in the education of Native American students with disabilities who live in rural and remote areas of the United States. Native American students with disabilities living on reservations are served by local schools, tribally controlled schools, and Bureau of Indian Education schools under the provisions of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. In rural reservation communities during COVID-19, special education services for students with disabilities were significantly disrupted. .
